What do we know about the cultural scenes of cities like The Hague, Krakow, Thessaloniki, or even Barcelona? We look at the hyper-local scene of each city through the perspective of their cultural agents who show us the weft of the cultural fabric of their cities: their artists, their meeting points, and their references.
We discover Barcelona's young experimental music scene with the artist and researcher of club utopias Ikram Bouloum; Kosmas Effraimidis, from his record shop in Thessaloniki, has been the musical prescriptor of the city for the past three decades; we get to know the The Hague’s underground scene with Steven van Lummel; and with composer, producer and DJ Leona Jacewska, also known as Charlie, we dive into Krakow's club scene.
The session is moderated by Antonia Folguera (Sónar+D) and Olof van Winden (TodaysArt).
