At Sónar+D 2019 we will dive into the immersive and interactive universe of teamLab, an interdisciplinary team of “ultra-technologists”: artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, and architects, that are navigating the confluence of art, science, technology, design, and the natural world.
The sum of the skills of teamLab’s members gives shape to large-scale interactive experiences that invite visitors to get lost in visually stunning landscapes that explore new relationships between humans and nature and between oneself and the world through digital art.

teamLab’s work is part of the permanent collections of museums and galleries in four continents, and in 2018 they opened their own digital arts museum in Tokyo, MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless.

Get to know the creative process behind teamLab’s work through an interview conducted by Honor Harger, director of Singapore’s ArtScience Museum.
