BAU Design College of Barcelona, will present three projects created as final projects for the Audio Visual Design Degree, and in the Masters Degree in Audio Visual Innovation and interactive environments. The three proposals are off-screen artistic interventions: visual and sonic installations, generative and/or reactive thanks to the audience’s interaction. BAU Design College of Barcelona is an innovative, modern and multi-disciplinary design school, founded in 1989 by a group of design professionals with a strong educational and teaching vocation.
Métron
By Sara Montoya, Luis Silva & Flor Salatino
With a metronome as a starting point –as a time and movement structure– Métron explores the limits, focusing on the intersections and influences between "different" mediums (mechanical, sound, light, space) to create various choreographies that challenge and reveal the metronome's perception.
La Mantis
By Heidi Valda & Gemma Reverter.
As we are used to macro-events and large formats to pay homage to what we admire, the proposal refutes the macro show culture and installs itself in the small, honouring the insect queen, The Mantis.
Akyute
By Natalia Gima, Miriam Felici i Mago Hart.
Nature integrates into the digital age through technology, creating musical co-creation installations in which when a plant is stimulated by the touch it generates sound, to develop positive feedback between the human being and nature.
