If Lotic first made their name in the Berlin underground, thanks to a series of releases on zeitgeist defining labels and collectives such as Janus Berlin, #FEELINGS or Sci Fi & Fantasy, 2018 is the year they broke out internationally. Released on the ever relevant Tri Angle records, 'Power' was one of the albums of 2018, a wavy but focused journey through scattershot beats and art-grime that added an important sense of narrative and purpose to deconstructed club music.
For their performance at Sónar 2019, Lotic will collaborate with lighting designer Emmanuel Biard on a brand new AV show 'Endless Power'. Aside from his work at super club Fabric and promoters such as Hoya:Hoya, Biard has been responsible for some of the most memorable AV shows in Sónar history, including collaborations with Evian Christ and Koreless. For this new show, which will receive it’s Spanish debut at Sónar, Lotic will perform within a reactive crown of sliced light, dressed in a bespoke piece by Áza Aracil.
