Deep-rooted in science and engineering and vitally close to creative practice and research in culture, Irma Vilà is involved in international hybrid research projects in science, culture and curating, such as the "Atlas of the Radio-Electric Spectrum" and "A Timeline of the Spectrum Utopias", which have been shown at festivals and museums around the world.
She is co-founder of the innovation lab ZZZINC and takes an active part in the Catalan creative network, collaborating with groups and institutions such as Luthiers Drapaires, Telenoika and the CCCB.
She has curated several exhibitions and activities at Arts Santa Mònica and the Art Futura festival, among others.
She is currently a lecturer in the Multimedia Degree, in the Digital Design and Creation Degree and at the Degree in the Arts at UOC. She directs the magazine Mosaic and co-directs the scientific journal Artnodes.
