Soundcool is a free system for creating music and visuals collaboratively in real-time using smartphones, tablets and other devices. It consists of a set of modules for recording, playing and transforming sound, and working with images. These modules can be controlled with smartphones via WiFi, with body movements using Kinect, or through augmented reality with HoloLens.
Soundcool won the NEM Art award, two Bankia Music Talent awards and SIMO award for the best experience in programming and robotics, among many others. Furthermore, this system is currently being used in schools around Europe and America and has been used to create an opera premiered in Spain and Mexico.
