The concept of inter-organizational collaboration is not easy, but when the right skills, materials and technologies come together, they facilitate projects and products of the future. Innovation has to be an open process where professionals from different types of organizations: corporations, universities, research centres, startups etc. come together and establish a dialog.
Teosto Futures Lab, is the innovation platform of Teosto, Finland’s society of musical composers and publishers. They research the tools to create a sustainable future for music through an interdisciplinary approach and by collaborating with startups.
Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) is a fashion business incubator located at the University of Arts - London College of Fashion. Since 2003, CFE has supported more than 800 small to medium enterprises (SMEs), helping translate disruptive ideas into new business models through innovative solutions.
In this session Turo Pekari, from Teosto Future Labs and Ishwari Thopte, from the Centre for Fashion Enterprise’s Fashion Tech department, will present their innovation projects and will have a conversation with Alberto Díaz, senior partner at MIGRATION (Business & Organization) on how startups can collaborate with bigger entities to bring forward their most innovative ideas.
