Barcelona City Council will open the Repte Canòdrom Barcelona to local creative and artistic communities.
The possible lines of research of the Repte Canòdrom Barcelona –an artist-in-residence programme in the fields of artistic innovation, technopolitics, citizen science, collaborative economy and open data– will be outlined in the context of MarketLab.
Over two days, the committee of mentors of the project plus a local committee and special guests will deliberate and write up on the characterisation of research of interest for citizens that will define the framework of this call.
This residency will run for a maximum of 6 months and will take place at Canòdrom, recently transformed into the Parc de Recerca Creativa (Barcelona Creative Research Park).
This is a space of innovation and cultural entrepreneurship for both talent and the creative and cultural industries. A space for cultural entrepreneurs who want to turn creative ideas –in sectors such as arts, technology and science– into new services and products. A benchmark for creators and the industry, open to research and creativity.
