YULIA is a project by Alessandro Manetti that allows you to transform the mobile devices of a room into a sound system using their integrated speakers. You only need to download the app and synch any device (computer, smartphone, tablet) to work at the same time, as it was a sound system. It works both online and offline.
YULIA comes to MarketLab as a party + testing lab, and people can join it by exclusive invitation only. This invitation is made of cardboard and it also presents the project and guides the user through the process of downloading the app and joining. The same cardboard invitation can be converted into a handmade analogue amplifier for different kinds of mobile devices.
