Eurecat Centre Tecnològic de Catalunya is specialised in the creation, production and distribution of 3D binaural music. These technologies anticipate the future of the music in a market with a growing interest in immersive content and surround sensations.
Eurecat develops ICT tools based on sound technologies and their own plugins to play binaural sound with headphones.
The centre serves over 1,000 companies and has offices in Barcelona, Canet de Mar, Girona, Manresa, Lleida, Mataró, Reus and Brasil. After more than 160 R+D+i projects and 73 patents, Eurecat accelerates innovation and provides specialised knowledge to the companies.
Eurecat will exhibit at MarketLab a 3D sound installation where the users will be able to experiment with this technology moving a series of sounds through space with controllers while enjoying binaural productions.
In addition, Eurecat will host a demo room next to SonarComplex with a permanent 3D sound installation -with a special hardware developed by Amate Audio-, that will include a series of live production sessions by artists Javier Ferrer (Ushuaïa Studio) and Timothy Schmele (No Input Ensemble).
