Sonar360º by Movistar+, 360º full immersion of sound and image

Sonar360º is the new space of Sónar+D inspired by Movistar+ and dedicated to fulldome audiovisual works at Sónar – an immersive environment where the audience is completely surrounded by 360º sound and vision.

This new space will be commissioned in collaboration with the Société des Arts Technologiques [SAT] from Montreal, a tech arts institution founded in 1996, pioneer in the development of immersive technologies.

The programme of Sonar360º by Movistar+ will feature a selection of fulldome pieces produced for the SAT by some of the most celebrated visual artists in the international new media scene like Joanie Lemercier, Will Young, Nicolas Nöel Jodoin among others, plus two workshops hosted by SAT researchers: 'Introduction to Immersive Language' and 'Production of Spherical Image'.

These workshops will be carried out in this 360º dome– a unique opportunity to learn how to design immersive pieces in a spherical environment with surround sound. Workshops will take place on 14 (Wed) and 15 (Thu) June and will be open to delegate pass holders upon registration.
