On Friday
18th and Saturday 19th September, Sónar becomes an
audiovisual platform, broadcasting its full program live via the website, across two channels and with
exclusive on-demand content. The event will broadcast each day from
10:30 to
02:00 CET.
The event is
free to watch but
viewers will need to register here.
The virtual program will co-exist with
in-person activities, taking place in front of a limited capacity audience at the
Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB). More information on reserving tickets

Sónar+D CCCB
highlights local talent and creativity, with more than 70 artists and speakers from Barcelona at the forefront of the festival. The program includes
premieres and exclusive shows filmed for the occasion from
Max Cooper,
Arca,
Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés,
Ryoji Ikeda,
Nicola Cruz,
Morad,
Ms Nina,
Niño de Elche, An exclusive talk between
Holly Herndon, Richie Hawtin and Mat Dryhurst, and unique collaborations for the event, such as those between
Alba G. Corral & Carles Viarnès, and
John Talabot & Desilence, among others.
These contents will co-exist with a live program of conferences, with topics such as
environmental awareness and the
links between art and science, highlighted throughout.
With the addition of
12hr live dj sets, broadcasting from Torre d’Alta Mar, in association with dublab BCN, Sónar CCCB takes the form of a hybrid, virtual event, to which everyone is invited.
