Sónar+D, Factory Berlin and Beats by Dr. Dre are looking for artistic talents in the areas of music, culture, art, and technology for the second edition of their Artist in Residence program
Sónar+D and Factory Berlin have once again joined forces to launch the second edition of the "Artist in Residence" residencies that are taking place at The Creators Lab, the headquarters of this creative platform in Görlitzer Park, Berlin, an ecosystem that brings together more than 3,500 creators and entrepreneurs from the fields of creativity, technology and entrepreneurship.
From July 20th to November 30th 2020, 6 selected artists will have the opportunity to work on joint projects and in collaboration with a selection of mentors including Andrew Melchior (CTO of Massive Attack), Andreea Magdalina (shesaid.so), Annie Lin (Twitch), Christian Mio Loclair (Waltz Binaire), Katia Isakoff (Women Produce Music), Lucas Knoflach (Sound Diplomacy), Marie Albert (S+T+ARTS), Ronny Krieger (Patreon), Lewamm Ghebremariam (Change.org), Lukas Drevenstedt (Berlin Club Commission) and the Sónar+D team among many others.
The first edition of the Factory Berlin and Sónar+D artistic residencies took place in 2019. This collaborative project started with the aim of exploring, innovating and discovering the ways in which creativity impacts on innovation, problem-solving and the culture of work, as well as ways to collaborate and build community.
