Reinvent, redesign, reuse and recycle at the BCN Maker Faire this weekend

On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October, Barcelona Maker Faire takes over Nau Bostik with a full program of documentary screenings, talks, workshops and installations showcasing technological innovations across the worlds of industry, academia and art.

Bringing together the "international maker community" of researchers and innovators from universities and non-profit's around the world, this year's edition is focused on approaches to the circular economy, with recycling and sustainability taking a centre role. Over the weekend, more than 100 activities, exhibitors, talks, films and workshops will offer up discussion and workable solutions on this theme, touching on every area of modern life from fashion and textile production to agriculture and food, as well as initiatives to re-imagine and repair unwanted items such as the Restarters Party.

Maker Faire Barcelona is aimed at adults and children, it is open and free, but do not forget that registration is required! Sign up. We look forward to seeing you this weekend.
