Maker Faire Barcelona


Maker Faire Barcelona is an event that will bring together technology enthusiasts, artisans, educators, creatives, engineers, science communities, writers, artists, students and commercial exhibitors. Its aim is to share experiences and processes from around the maker universe and to connect the general public with the latest technologies that make them possible. Furthermore, Maker Faire presents keynotes from three leading women in the field of technology, Ayah Bdier, CEO and founder of littleBits; Carla Diana lecturer at University of Pennsylvania and  a member of the Georgia Tech Socially Intelligent Machines Department; and Nadya Peek from MIT's Centre for Bits And Atoms. The fourth edition of Maker Faire Barcelona is organized by Sónar, Fab Lab Barcelona and Soko, with the support of Make magazine, Ayuntamiento de Barcelona and IN(3D)ustry, and will take place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June. The fair’s activities will also be explained at Sónar+D, with an information point at MarketLab.
