Nowadays there are endless tools and technologies available for artists to promote and distribute their work. In this workshop by Playmoss, a series of platforms for promotion and digital distribution will be presented and it will be analysed how artists are benefiting from them. Some of these tools are DistroKid, La Cúpula, Songspace, Sonicbids, AtVenue or Bandsintown, as well as the newest function of Playmoss to create subscription services for artists, labels and promoters.

Gerardo Cartón, former director of PIAS Spain for ten years and co-founder of Playmoss, Aleix Fernández, CEO of Playmoss, and Ariana Díaz, Playmoss Director of Communications and with an extensive experience promoting music-related events such as Piknic Electronik, DGTL Barcelona and Mosaic by Maceo will present the workshop. No previous knowledge is required, but bringing your own laptop or tablet is recommended.

Playmoss is a platform and music community that allows it users to create playlists with music from YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Recently, Subscription by Playmoss, an additional sales channel for the music industry that allows artists, labels and promoters to create subscription services and share any kind of special content for fans, was launched.
