After 4 years of Sónar+D, the presence of startups evolves into a new concept – the Startup Garden, a space for the promotion and exhibition that gathers the national and international key players of the creative industries ecosystem.
Thirty startup companies will be selected from all the applications received and will be given a booth for exhibiting their project in front of a potential audience of 50,000 people (Sónar+D and Sónar by Day visitors during the three days of the festival). In addition to this, they will enjoy many opportunities and advantages in the inspirational and creative framework of Sónar+D:
Sónar+D 2016 Startup Garden call was closed on April 15th. The call was open to startups specialised in creative industries –music, video, art, design, hardware or Internet of Things– with an on-going project that has been billing for at least 12 months, and currently looking for a Series A round (200,000-2,000,000€).*
